The Minnesota State Patrol and the Duluth Police Department have joined forces for a new crime prevention and traffic safety initiative.  The two agencies will share resources and personnel in certain "hot spot" areas to reduce the incidents of crime and traffic crashes.  In Duluth, the new team approach will concentrate on the downtown area and I-35.
