(Chanhassen, MN) -- A slow-moving system continues to dump snow across a good portion of Minnesota. National Weather Service forecaster Matt Friedlein says snow will continue all all day and night in central and southern Minnesota, and slowly come to an end throughout the day tomorrow. He says some areas could get a foot of snow. Blowing and drifting snow will also be a problem in western Minnesota today. Friedlein says the snow is light and fluffy, making travel difficult in some areas. Lake effect snows could be an issue along the north shore of Lake Superior today and along the south shore on Tuesday.
